Welcome to Thorpe Farm which is situated 9 miles west of Scotch Corner on the edge of the A66. Centred around an 18th Century Peel House, the licensed site offers an array of attractions for the whole family to make it a memorable fun family day trip.
- Free entry to Thorpe Farm itself including our;
- Coffee, Restaurant, Deli and Gift Shop,
- Walled Gardens, Trampolines & Play Area
- Function Room with a seating capacity for fifty people
- Reclamation Barn,
- Heritage Wood with 6 walks ranging from 1-8 miles starting and finishing at Thorpe Farm (To be used with OS Barnard Castle & Richmond Sheet No. 92).
- Camping & Caravan Park
The Shop and Coffee Shop are open seven days a week from 9am - 5pm - we only close on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day!
The Country Park and Falconry Centre is our family day trip attraction. There is an entry charge for the park.
Opening Times for the Country Park for 2009 are:-
Saturday 4th April - Sunday 19th April 10am - 4pm seven days a week.
Every weekend (Sat and Sun only) from 25th April - 28th June including Monday bank holidays 10am - 4pm
Half term week we will be open from Saturday 23rd May every day through to Sunday 31st May 10am - 4pm
Then from Saturday 4th July - Sunday 6th September we will be open seven days a week 10am - 5pm.

Adorn your platters with a mouth-watering array of culinary delights from our Deli.
Explore an Aladdin’s Cave of architectural salvage and antiques in the Reclamation Barn.
For those of you with dog we have recently planted the Teesdale Heritage Wood. This is a community woodland project, sponsored by the Forestry Commission and consists of 8 acres of native hard wood trees. The woodland walks are free and open to the public to explore at any time and are dog friendly! On a fine day you can see right up Teesdale.
With so many attractions and activities Thorpe Farm is the ideal choice for a day trip or a coffee and cake or a meal stop on your way across the A66.
