Thorpe Farm is centred around an 18th Century Peel House, the licensed campsite and caravan park offers a wide range of attractions for the whole family to make it a memorable day out, short break or holiday. Thorpe Farm Centre is situated just 9 miles west of the Scotch Corner, on the edge of the A66, in the beautiful area of Teesdale.
Thorpe Farm Centre is perfect for family day trips and includes one of the best equipped campsites in North Yorkshire and County Durham. The Thorpe Farm Campsite and Caravan Park has the following facilities onsite:-
The Gift Shop, Farm Shop and Coffee Shop are open seven days a week, from 9am - 5pm (Sunday 10am - 5pm) we only close the shop on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day!

The Reclamation Barn has been busy too sourcing reclaimed products and has some really different pieces on sale, again well worth a browse to treat either yourself, your home or as a gift.
The recently planted Teesdale Heritage Wood is now growing well and is a pleasurable place for walking, ideal for ramblers or for those of you with a dog. This community woodland project is sponsored by the Forestry Commission and consists of 8 acres of native hard wood trees. The woodland walks are free of charge and are open to the public to explore at any time and are also dog friendly! On a fine day you can see right up Teesdale. The walk meanders through the paddocks now housing the animals from the park, ponies, donkeys and llamas, so why not come for a walk and enjoy the scenery and the animals.
