Falconry Centre
Here at Thorpe Farm we have created one of the largest and most impressive falconry centre's in the north of England. We are proud to be working with Phil and Tracy Gibon of Ridgeside Falconry, who are well known in the area for their outside falconry displays. Their professionalism has helped us to create one of the most stunning centre's in the country.
Down by the lakeside you will find the picturesque aviaries containing magnificent birds from around the world including the Ruppels Griffin Vulture with an enormous wingspan of 7ft.
Other birds include Turkey vultures, Lanner Falcons, Tawny Owls, Perigrine falcons, European Eagle Owls and many more!
Flying Displays Daily (weather permitting)
Visit our new arrivals born June 2007, two European Eagle Owl chicks. The chicks were hatched by a mating pair that had only been together since last Easter.
