With Spring just around the corner, now is the perfect time to start enjoying the great walk and cycle paths Thorpe Farm has to offer.

Did you know that walking for just 30 minutes a day helps improve your mood and lets your creativity flow. With statistics like these you can see why walking is such a popular hobby. Whether you are already an avid walker or looking to take up a new interest, here at Thorpe Farm we have the perfect range of walking paths to match all abilities.

Why not enjoy strolling through our beautiful Nature Reserve, you might even see some wildlife too. Our reserve was created in 2008 and has now attracting a vast array of birds and insects. It’s the perfect walk for people of all ages, but don’t forget to bring your binoculars!

If you are a nature lover, you will benefit from our Country Park. Developed in 1936, this park is the ideal place to enjoy a picnic in the sun. We have over 1400 trees planted in the area and they come in all shapes, sizes and species. Such as oak, horse chestnut, rowan, birch and even wild cherries.

If you are looking the perfect Sunday afternoon walk, how about our wide selection of paths ranging from 1 mile to nearly 8 miles long. Saunter through grassy dells and established woodland taking in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside as you go. Plus all our walks lead back to Thorpe Farm so why not treat yourself to a piece of cake or a scone in our popular cafe.
