Our customers regularly tell us they didn’t expect to find such variety — but we love going the extra mile.
Next door, Peel House is where you’ll find something a little different. Gorgeous gifts, home interiors and a treasure trove of antiques and reclaimed finds. It’s the kind of place where you pop in for one thing and leave with your arms full.
And when you’re ready for a bite to eat, our Courtyard Restaurant is the perfect spot. We serve proper, home-cooked meals, from hearty breakfasts and light lunches to indulgent cakes and Sunday roasts. It’s one of the best dog friendly restaurants in North Yorkshire, so your four-legged friends are always welcome too.
A True Family Destination
Thorpe Farm isn’t just a stop-off. It’s somewhere you can spend the whole day — or the whole week. Our Country Park is free to explore, with animal paddocks, open fields and woodland walks ideal for families, dog walkers and anyone needing a bit of fresh air. Bring the kids, bring the dog, bring your walking boots. There’s no rush here.
We’re right off the A66, which makes us a brilliant base if you’re heading between the East Coast, York or the Lake District. But many choose to stay right here, thanks to our holiday accommodation.

New for 2025 — Even More to Explore
As a family-run business, we’re always looking to grow in ways that feel right. That’s why we’re excited to announce two new additions coming very soon:
- A brand-new Garden Centre. Opening late May/early June, this will be independently run but right here at Thorpe Farm — offering a wide range of plants, gardening supplies and expert advice.
- Our own Children’s Soft Play area, run by us and designed with younger families in mind. Safe, colourful and indoors, it’s perfect for rainy days or letting little ones burn off energy.
These additions will give even more reasons to visit, stay longer or make us part of your regular routine.
