Our café and restaurant at Thorpe Farm is open 7 days a week from 9am, serving up delicious food in a warm and welcoming setting for all ages — we are also dog friendly!

Our famous Sunday Carvery is a must-try at Thorpe Farm, served every Sunday from 12pm. Choose from three delicious cuts of meat, all freshly prepared, then pile your plate high with a mouth-watering selection of seasonal vegetables, crispy roast potatoes, and of course, our epic Yorkshire puddings – all finished off with a generous helping of rich, homemade gravy. Furry friends welcome!

If you’ve been out exploring the Yorkshire Dales or stunning scenery of County Durham with your canine companion, you’ll no doubt be looking for a dog friendly cafe & restaurant to refuel at!

We have dedicated dog friendly spaces in our cafe and will always provide water bowls, just ask the team and they will be happy to help. We also sell dog friendly ice cream if your furry friend is in need of a treat!
