    2024 Is Here!

    2024 Is Here!

Happy New Year to you, the Thorpe Farm team hopes you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and are looking forward to all of the exciting things ahead in 2024. To kickstart the year, we have a couple of dates that we wanted to make you aware of. In January and February we have events taking place here at Thorpe Farm and there will be many more to follow throughout the year. We hope you can attend and support our events and most importantly we hope that you enjoy them when you do visit!

    January Event

The first event of 2024 which is taking place is Burns Night on Thursday 25th January. We are delighted to be hosting a Burns Night this year where we can all celebrate the legacy of Robert Burns together while enjoying traditional, Scottish cuisine. Our evening will consist of Haggis, neeps and tatties! A true Scottish dish. Plus, during the night there will be bagpipes and music throughout keeping the spirits high. To see the latest updates of our Burns Night and to book tickets, you can view our event on Facebook, here, or call our team on 01833 627242.

    February Event

Love is in the air at Thorpe Farm! Show your loved one just how special they really are with a night at Thorpe Farm where you are waited on hand and foot. We really will make it a night to remember. After the success of our Valentine’s evening in 2023, we have decided to bring it back and treat you all again with delicious home-cooked food. For more information and booking for this event, please keep a close eye on our Facebook page as all details will be released there first. We can’t wait to see you all for our 2024 events and these are just the start of many more to come for this year!

Have You Visited Thorpe Farm Before?

If you’ve never visited Thorpe Farm before then you are in for a real treat. Our Burns Night or Valentine’s evening may be the first time you are visiting Thorpe Farm and if it is, we’d love for you to visit again, during the day when our Farm Shop, Gift Hall, and the entire site is open… you’ll then be able to experience the real buzz at Thorpe Farm.

We are open 7 days a week to the public and on site we have some very special amenities. At the centre of Thorpe Farm is The Courtyard which boasts a wide range of different aspects of our family-run business. You’ll find our Farm Shop which is fully stocked with fresh fruit and vegetables, frozen items, store cupboard essentials and all of your family favourites. We even have a fresh deli counter and alcohol section too.

As you wind your way through our Farm Shop, you will see in front of you our beautiful Gift Hall with specially picked items for you, your home and loved ones. It is the perfect place for you to find trinkets, keepsakes, gifts and much more. Not only will you find items for your home but we also stock a wide range of soaps, diffusers, candles, jewellery, lamps, clothing and much more. Our Gift Hall is bursting at the seams with items we know you will love, plus the perfect gifts for children, family and friends.

Our Reclamation Centre is an incredibly unique treasure trove where you can find one-off items that are special and rich in history. If you see something you like, it’s worth purchasing or enquiring with our team as often we only have limited numbers of stock. If you know someone who would love the items in our Reclamation Centre, we are now offering Gift Vouchers that you can purchase in store. Be sure to pop in and see Susan in the Reclamation Centre and her very special little helper!

Once you’ve managed to browse and shop, you can relax in our Café and Restaurant and enjoy a bite to eat. Whether you choose a light bite, a hearty meal or a slice of cake and a drink, we have a full menu of items that you can choose from. All our meals are freshly prepared in our kitchen by our chef and restaurant team. Every Sunday we also serve our Carvery which is simply beautiful. We offer a range of meats, juicy vegetables, potatoes and of course Yorkshire Puddings!

If you find that you love what Thrope Farm has to offer, you can visit time and time again or even become a Holiday Home owner. On-site we have a Static Caravan Park, Seasonal Pitches and Caravan and Camping areas. Make Thorpe Farm your home from and visit at any time of the year.

Based just off the A66 with easy access, a short drive to Barnard Castle and several wonderful amenities on-site, Thorpe Farm is the perfect place for individuals, couples or families to visit.
